![]() ![]() Okay, i'm up to stop the rtpmidid daemon and start it as process to see the debug output. I will add SPICYBOX/a2jmidid-port as participant.Ĭarla ignores this. Now I can't see any participant automatically added as I saw it earlier. It will be created with different RTP port. Let it be named as "Keyrig49" for instance. What I am doing is I am creating another session in Tobias' rtpMIDI. I need to connect second (third and so on) device too. Now we are heading to FL Studio and connecting the Control to the DAW I will connect output of it to Launch Control, and it's input - to the named device like this It shows right away that one of the peers in Directory is connected as participant. Why there's two peers available - SPICYBOX (hostname of my Studio 20) with :5004 port and SPICYBOX/a2jmidid-port with :37676? Let's hook my Novation Launch Control to my FL studio. Now I will create a session in Tobias' rtpMIDI on my Windows machine. ![]() My Carla found an interface and it shows under "a2j" interface group as rtpmidi Capture: Network and rtpmidi Playback: Network My Studio 20 met no issues when I've installed latest version of rtpMIDId. Long story short, I met a dead end in this. Recently I discovered you can pass your MIDI input devices (such as midikeys, synths, control boards) over LAN and went straight away to try to improve my current setup with it. Side note: I wrote PM to the Author of rtpMIDId, but seems like it's not the right way I should behave on this forum, so I'm sharing the problem.
